Terms of Service
Last updated: May 27, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Mait ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are using Mait on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Mait is an AI-powered content orchestration platform that helps independent retailers detect videos from social media accounts, generate blog posts and marketing content using AI, localise content into multiple languages, and publish to connected platforms including Shopify and WordPress. Features available to you depend on your subscription plan.
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate, complete registration information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
- One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.
4. Subscription and Payment
Plans and Billing
Mait offers Starter ($29/month), Growth ($79/month), and Enterprise ($249/month) plans, plus a 14-day free trial on paid plans. Payments are processed by Paddle. By providing payment information, you authorise Paddle to charge you on a recurring basis for your selected plan.
Upgrades and Downgrades
Plan changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. Downgrading may result in loss of access to features or data above your new plan's limits.
Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel at any time via your account settings. Your access continues until the end of the paid period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law.
5. Content and Intellectual Property
Your Content
You retain full ownership of all content you bring into Mait — including videos, text, images, and data obtained from connected platforms. By using the Service, you grant Mait a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
AI-Generated Content
Content generated by Mait's AI pipelines is provided to you for your use. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before publishing. Mait does not claim ownership of output generated specifically from your input.
Mait's IP
The Mait platform, branding, software, and documentation are owned by Mait and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any rights in Mait's IP to you.
6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, errors, or material that requires editing. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of any content published through the Service. Mait provides a review queue for this purpose. Publishing AI-generated content without review is at your own risk. Mait is not liable for claims arising from published AI-generated content.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to generate spam, misinformation, or content that violates applicable law.
- Attempt to circumvent plan limits, rate limits, or security controls.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
- Use the Service to infringe third-party intellectual property rights.
- Access the Service using automated means beyond our documented API.
- Resell or sublicence the Service without our written consent.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section without prior notice.
8. Third-Party Integrations
The Service integrates with third-party platforms (Meta, Shopify, WordPress, YouTube, TikTok, and others). You are responsible for complying with each platform's terms of service when using Mait to interact with them. Mait is not responsible for third-party platform outages, API changes, or policy changes that affect Service functionality.
9. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance. Mait is not liable for losses caused by downtime, data loss, or performance issues beyond the pro-rated value of your subscription for the affected period.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mait's total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Mait is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Mait harmless from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.
12. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases and we will delete your data within 30 days, subject to legal holds.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Tel Aviv, Israel. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also have the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before the effective date. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
